Utilizing The Law of Attraction

law of attraction Utilizing the Law of AttractionThe law of attraction states that you will attract into your life–whether wanted or unwanted–whatever you give your energy, focus, and attention to.

You are constantly giving off vibrations of energy when you think and feel. These vibrations can be picked up and received by other people. That’s why people say, “he has good vibes,” or “he gives off bad vibes.” You are constantly giving off vibrations — literally!

If you’re feeling excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, loving, appreciative, abundant, prosperous, relaxed and peaceful, you are giving off positive vibrations.

On the other hand, if you’re feeling bored, anxious, worried, confused, sad, lonely, hurt, angry, resentful, guilty, disappointed, frustrated, overwhelmed, stressed out, or depressed, then you are giving off negative vibrations.

The law of attraction states that the universe responds to whatever you are offering– by giving you more of whatever you are vibrating. It doesn’t care whether it is good for you or not; it simply responds to your vibration.

If you saw the film The Secret Utilizing the Law of Attraction, you saw this explained in great detail.

The problem is that most of the time, you are not aware of what vibration you are offering. You are simply responding to things outside of you–current events, the news, how people treat you, the stock market, how much money you are making, how your children are doing in school, whether or not your favorite sports team wins–and then having a feeling that is either positive or negative.

When you are simply responding unconsciously to what happens around you, you tend to stay “stuck” in your current condition. This is why most people’s lives never seem to change very much. They get stuck in a repeating cycle of recreating the same reality over and over by the vibration they are sending out.

It works like this… First you observe what you currently have and are currently receiving in your life. You call this your “reality.” You respond to what you observe with a feeling, positive or negative, which then gives off that vibration to the universe. The law of attraction then responds to this vibration and brings you more of what you were vibrating. This keeps the cycle going over and over, until you choose to change it through the exertion of your will. You are a victim of your lack of awareness of the law of attraction.

The Process of Intentional Creation

It is possible to get out of this vicious cycle and create what you want instead of continually recreating what you already have. It is a simple, three-step process that you can begin immediately.

If you’ve been implementing the action steps I coach you through in The KEY to Living the Law of Attraction, you have already begun this process.

Step 1: Identify what you truly desire & eliminate the negative

It is important to focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want. You must state it in the positive and filter out the words don’t, not and no. Remember, your mind works in pictures and if you say I don’t want to be mad, you are creating the picture and thus the vibration of being mad. You must create the opposite of what you don’t want.

Step 2: Raise your vibration level

Your job in stage two is to create a vibrational match for that which you say you want to have. How would you be feeling if you already had those things–the perfect job, the perfect relationship, the amount of money that you want to have?

Your job is to identify what makes you feel good and do more of it, then learn not to tolerate your negative feelings.

Affirmations are an important component in raising your vibrational level to what it is you want. Remember, the law of attraction does not respond to the words you use or the thoughts you think. It simply responds to how you feel about what you say and how you feel about what you think.

Step 3. Release it and allow it.

In this third step, you simply release your affirmation, your vibration, and your feelings to the universe to take care of your “request” or “order” as I call it. But you have to abstain from any doubts. If you doubt you can have it in any way, then you are not allowing it. You are pushing it away and you end up with contradictory messages to the universe.

It is only when the contradictory thoughts, talk, and images are removed that your desired results will manifest. The faster you remove your resistance, the faster your dreams can be realized.

Once a month I hold a Law of Attraction Q and A Teleconference call. (Listen to Nov 2008 Q and A Call ) In a recent call, a participant was asking me how to keep her vibrations positive (or pure), especially at work. She went on to explain that while she was at work, she allowed people to come to her to complain about their personal and professional lives. A direct result was that she absorbed all this negativity. She had become the office ‘sponge’ for listening to other people’s negative stories.

My feedback to her was that she needed to mind her Vibrational Boundaries. At this point, she had not heard this expression before, (mostly because I just made it up in the moment).

We have heard of Physical Boundaries, Mental Boundaries and Emotional Boundaries. All of these boundaries have the same characteristics. They become like an invisible property line around you, keeping the positive in, and the negative out — like a protective bubble.

Vibrational Boundaries keep the good vibes in, and protect
you from negative vibes trying to come in.

What areas of your life do you need to establish your Vibrational Boundaries?

In 2008, I can remember three instances where I had to set up my Vibration Boundaries with personal relationships – letting the other person know what I would allow into our relationship and what I would not. In all three cases, these relationships ended. At first I felt sad, but in hindsight, it reduced the amount of negativity I allowed in my life. Less negativity made room for more joy.

Our natural state is to experience joy. If we are not, then there is negativity
that is preventing it (joy) from surfacing.

Does it take courage to set your Vibrational Boundaries with your friends and family? Yes, it does. Can anybody do the job for you? Absolutely not! Your vibrations are your responsibility and avoiding negativity is YOUR job. Is there a payoff? Yes, there is. Your positive vibrations attract positive things and experiences into your life, so maintaining Vibrational Boundaries is a must!

In my business life, I only work with suppliers, staff, and contractors who are positive, and respect my boundaries. I have ended relationships in this area as well – and as a result, would see my business flourish when the negativity was removed.

What areas do you need to re-visit and establish YOUR Vibrational Boundaries?

(1) At home with your family?

(2) With your friends?

(3) At the workplace

(4) With your clients and customers?

(5) With your Suppliers?

(6) Other?

It takes courage and commitment to set and maintain your Vibrational Boundaries. Be kind to yourself. Keep the positive in, and prevent the negative from entering into your Vibrational Bubble. You will love the benefits you receive.

Law of Attraction: Responsibility and You!

As a certified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner, I’ve learned about the impact of words, and I particularly like reframing a words meaning. By reframing I mean to look at a word and its meaning from a different point of view. Consider the following reframe of the word responsibility.

The word responsibility has two words buried within it – the word Response and the word Ability. Here is a different definition for the word responsibility:

Responsibility: My ability to choose my response.

Both positive and negative things happen to people.  It’s not what happens to you, it’s how your respond to what happens to you.   You are always at choice on how you will respond to negative things, and as important, how long you keep responding to negative things.

In my book, Law of Attraction, I introduce you to the Vibrational Bubble.  This bubble, is my illustration to have you understand the energy directly around us (imagine you are in this big bubble, and YOUR vibes are included in this bubble).  What you say, think, read, observe, talk about, write about etc. causes you to send a vibration that matches what you give attention to.  Law of Attraction is always responding to the vibration you are sending…

What is the Vibration in YOUR Bubble?

Having a negative reaction to something is normal and ok.  It’s what you choose to do after having the negative reaction is what is most important.  Are you complaining about it, writing about the negative experience, telling 10 friends, thinking about it constantly?  All this time you are giving attention to what you don’t want it causing you to include it in your Vibration Bubble, and you will attract more.

So when you have your next negative experience (even a little one) remind yourself that you are at choice. What should I observe? and how long should I have this negative vibration?  Remembering that I have the ability to respond — that is my Responsibility!

Michael Losier 150x150 Law of Attraction: Is It Just Positive Thinking?When I first started teaching Law of Attraction in 1998 to larger groups of people, a common question I was often asked was, “Isn’t this just positive thinking?”

Well, thoughts are part of Law of Attraction, but it is the feeling (vibe) behind the thought that is most important.  There are only two vibrations, negative or positive.  We know when we are emitting or sending out a negative vibe because we feel negative when we do that. The words we use and the thoughts we think cause us to send a vibe (vibration).  Law of Attractionhas only one duty; it matches vibrations. To know what vibration YOU are sending right now, check TWO things. Are your feelings positive or negative, and what you are attracting? You always receive a simple reflection of the vibration you are sending or putting-out.

The words in a positive sentence can indeed be positive, however, that does not mean you will feel positive when saying them.  In the follow sentence, how many of the words are positive?

I have a happy, slender body.

Did you guess 2 or more?   The words “happy” and “slender”, right? If that wording describes the body you want to attract, happy and slender matches your goal (or desire).

Now, as you say these words, they may cause some thoughts like:

Well, I don’t really like my body (negative vibe)
It does not look happy or slender to me (negative vibe)
I feel bigger than ever before (negative vibe)
I don’t like my stomach (negative vibe)

Your one sentence, “I have a happy, slender body” has now generated a negative vibe from you. And as always, Law of Attraction responds in the same way it always does. It matches the vibration you are sending!

LAW OF ATTRACTION RESPONDS TO HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY AND THINK.

That same sentence, “I have a happy slender body” can feel positive for a person who IS happy and slender and negative for another person who is NOT happy or slender!

Positively worded sentences do NOT guarantee positive vibrations.

Here is a slight change-in-words technique you can use to reword the sentence so you can feel positive (and send positive vibes) from these types of affirmations or statements.

I’m in the process of attracting my ideal slender body.

The key words are “in the process”.

This phrase when put in front of any affirmation or desire creates positive vibes.

NOW, you have set the energy in motion for you to start attracting whatever you need to do, know or have that is in alignment to your desires.

NOW, Law of Attraction is matching THAT vibration.

You get what you vibrate!
